Terms and conditions

Terms applying to Liberty-i website use, products and services.

Last updated: 21 August 2026

These terms apply to use of the Liberty-i website and to goods ordered through the online shop. Connectivity, VoIP, Guest Wi-Fi, installation, support and other managed services are also governed by the proposal, order form, service schedule or agreement supplied for that service. If a service-specific agreement conflicts with these website terms, the service-specific agreement takes priority for that service.

1. About Liberty-i

Liberty-i is a trading name of Liberty-izone Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 04942248, VAT number 822 0974 39. Our registered office is Leytonstone House, 3 Hanbury Drive, London E11 1GA. Our trading and contact address is Unit 14 Riverside Park, Farnham, Surrey GU9 7UG. Contact us at info@liberty-i.com or 0808 2819 500.

2. Consumers and business customers

A consumer is an individual buying mainly for personal use. A business customer buys wholly or mainly for a trade, business, craft or profession. Some statutory rights and cancellation rights apply only to consumers. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. Website use

4. Product information, prices and VAT

We take reasonable care to describe products accurately. Images are illustrative and packaging, colour or minor specifications may change. Please check the manufacturer part number and suitability for your intended system before ordering.

Consumer-facing prices are shown inclusive of UK VAT unless clearly stated otherwise. Any ex-VAT amount shown for business convenience is supplementary. Delivery charges and other unavoidable order charges are shown before you place the order. If a pricing or description error is obvious and could reasonably have been recognised as an error, we may cancel the affected item and refund any amount paid.

5. Orders and contract formation

6. Availability and back-orders

Stock status and dispatch estimates are provided in good faith but can change. We will identify back-orders or uncertain lead times before accepting the affected order where reasonably possible. If we cannot supply within the agreed time, we will contact you with the option to accept a revised date or cancel for a refund.

7. Payment

Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Card and digital-wallet payments are processed using hosted or tokenised components from the relevant payment provider. You must be authorised to use the payment method. We may carry out proportionate fraud and identity checks and may delay acceptance while a check is completed.

8. Delivery, cancellation and returns

Our Delivery and returns policy forms part of these terms and explains destinations, charges, delivery estimates, consumer cancellation rights, returns, damaged deliveries and refunds.

9. Ownership and risk

For consumers, responsibility for loss or damage passes when the goods are delivered to you or a person you nominate, other than a carrier chosen independently by you. Ownership passes once we have received full cleared payment. Business delivery and risk provisions in an agreed order or service schedule take priority.

10. Faulty goods and warranties

Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for a purpose made known where the law requires. Manufacturer warranties are additional to, and do not replace, a consumer’s statutory rights. If a product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact us promptly with the order number and a clear description of the issue. Do not send equipment until return instructions are issued.

11. Services, configuration and customer responsibilities

12. Intellectual property

The website, Liberty-i branding and original site content belong to Liberty-izone Limited or its licensors. Manufacturer names, images and marks belong to their respective owners. You may view or print pages for your own legitimate use but may not republish, sell or commercially exploit site content without permission.

13. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility where doing so would be unlawful, including responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or a consumer’s statutory rights.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses where you bought as a consumer. If you are a business customer, any agreed service-specific limitation applies; otherwise responsibility is determined under applicable law.

14. Events outside reasonable control

We are not responsible for delay caused by an event outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect, tell affected customers where appropriate and resume performance as soon as reasonably possible. Consumer cancellation rights are not affected.

15. Privacy

We use personal information as described in our privacy policy and use cookies and similar technologies as described in our cookie policy.

16. Changes, severability and waiver

The terms applying to an order are those presented when the order is placed. We may update these website terms for future use. If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.

17. Law and disputes

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. A consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland retains the benefit of mandatory local law and may bring proceedings in the courts available under consumer law. Business disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales unless an agreed service contract says otherwise.
